AIA Australia shuffles distribution team

AIA Australia has installed a new team of managers to lead its Retail Distribution arm as part of the firm’s commitment to support its network of financial advisers “more effectively”.

This comes after the life insurer announced the appointment of Craig Parker as General Manager, Retail Distribution, who will lead a team of four regional managers along with the rest of the team.

Clive Staple has been appointed for South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory; Ian Harpley for Queensland; James Wingate for Victoria and Tasmania; and Evan Miller for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.

“At a time when it is increasingly important for Australians to have access to a high standard of financial advice, AIA Australia is focused on strengthening its support for advisers,” Sam Tremethick, AIA Australia’s Chief Partnership Distribution Officer, said.
