BetaShares turns to scaling advice practices

Betashares has announced the launch of a new offering that seeks to help financial advisers scale up their businesses, providing tools, solutions and information in an effort to enhance their practice.
The offering, Practice Development, will provide advisers with the information to develop an investment philosophy, encourage practice growth, help coach clients and improve portfolio construction.
The tools made available on the Betashares website will also cover capital markets insights, marketing and growth, and responsible investing, with the opportunity for advisers to organise sessions with in-house experts.
Alongside the new offering, Betashares also announced the appointment of Damon Riscalla to the newly created role of National Head of Practice Development. He has been with Betashares for six years and was most recently National Manager – Adviser Services.
“With our new service, we’re aiming to further support financial advisers by sharing the knowledge and expertise we’ve built over a decade of helping Australians progress their financial goals,” Betashares Head of Distribution and Capital Markets, Peter Harper, said.
“We hope that financial advisers around Australia will leverage the purpose-built resources to help grow and scale their practices.
“Our dedicated adviser services team, range of investment experts and the broader Betashares team are available to assist on these important activities where needed.”
The fund manager also announced a new video and podcast series to supplement the new service, which will feature interviews with industry figures from across financial advice.
“I’m excited to work closely with financial advisers around Australia to assist them to seize the opportunities associated with the changing landscape for financial advice,” Riscalla said.
“Despite the financial and regulatory challenges facing financial advisers, we are optimistic about the future of the sector and want to help advisers build successful practices.”
