TAL releases 2023 course program

The new 2023 course program at TAL’s adviser education platform, the TAL Risk Academy, has introduced 20 new courses and is now offering over 110 on-demand courses.
In an effort to meet the changing appetites and needs from advisers, the 2023 syllabus features a new ‘AskAnExpert’ monthly Tech Series and an Ethics Month, continues the Professional Year program for new entrants in the advice industry and provides expansive material to gain CPD hours.
“TAL Risk Academy is focused on providing advisers with a high quality learning environment and is continually adapting to changing industry and adviser needs,” Beau Riley, Head of Sales and Partnerships – Retail Distribution at TAL, said.
“Through our comprehensive and flexible suite of courses, informed by adviser feedback and delivered by trusted subject-matter experts, we are proud to support advisers to provide excellent advice and build thriving advice practices.
“Ethics Month has been developed to help advisers understand the latest industry requirements and obligations, while the interactive AskAnExpert series allows our Technical Team to provide comprehensive guidance to advisers’ topical and complex questions.”
The TAL Risk Academy course structure is segmented into four main categories:
- Advice Skills and Training: Courses focused on providing advice foundations for new entrants, through to advanced strategies, to technical expertise
- Business Management: Courses focused on providing support to grow an advice business through strategy and marketing
- Education and Professionalism: Courses focused on providing support through the latest industry requirements
- Professional Year: A tailored learning program for Professional Year candidates
