AMP appoints new North sales head

AMP Limited has appointed highly experienced Harry Georges as its Head of National Sales for AMP North.
The company said that Georges, who has previously led national and state-based tams for iptiQ/Swiss Re, MLC, NEOS and AMP, brings over 20 years’ experience across advice, insurance and platform distribution.
He will report to Lisa Sorgini, General Manager of Wealth Distribution.
Confirming Georges’ appointment, AMP group executive, Platforms, Edwina Maloney said he appointment reinforced North’s commitment to supporting the advice profession.
“Harry’s leadership, deep industry knowledge and proven ability to build strong relationships will be invaluable as we build our bench strength and continue to expand our support for advisers and helping more Australians invest in their future with confidence,” she said.
