Equity Trustees named RE for new T. Rowe Price fund

Global active investment specialist, T. Rowe Price, has selected Equity Trustees as the responsible entity (RE) for its Global Structured Research Equity Fund, recently launched in Australia.
According to a statement, the appointment is the latest in a longstanding partnership with T. Rowe Price, spanning 18 years and more than 10 funds.
“We are proud to support the launch of the T. Rowe Price Global Structured Research Strategy as Responsible Entity in Australia,” Andrew Godfrey, Executive General Manager of Corporate and Superannuation Trustee Services at Equity Trustees, said.
“This is a sophisticated fund structure, and we are pleased to bring our experience and oversight to a global manager that shares our commitment to long-term outcomes for investors.”
“Our longstanding partnership with T. Rowe Price reflects a shared commitment to robust governance, disciplined risk management, and delivering operational excellence for investors.”
The strategy leverages T. Rowe Price’s global research platform to deliver data-backed opportunities for investors, contributing to the manager’s existing collection of Structured Research Equity strategies with over US$88 billion in funds under management (FUM) globally.
“We value the role that Equity Trustees plays in helping us deliver high-quality, institutionally robust fund structures to the Australian market,” Darren Hall, Head of Australia and New Zealand at T. Rowe Price, said.
“Their expertise in administrating complex structures and ensuring governance rigour allows us to focus on what we do best, delivering long-term value through active management.”
