Pengana Capital Group has announced the retirement of Warwick Negus from its board.

At the same time, David Groves, current non-executive director, has accepted the invitation to become independent non-executive chairman, effective 1 April.

Following this, the board has appointed Brendan O’Dea as a non-executive director of Pengana effective 1 April.

O’Dea is currently the chief investment officer of Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Company and was appointed to the role in October 2021 after having previously been the managing director and chief executive of Milton Corporation for three years.

He would bring 22 years of experience across global equity markets after having served with Citigroup in Sydney, Hong Kong, New York and Tokyo as managing director.
