Perennial Partners pumps private markets with new co-head

Australian investment manager, Perennial Partners, has buffed up its private market offering with the appointment of Luke Fay as Co-Head of Perennial Private Investments.
Joining fellow Co-Head Brendon Lyons from Perennial’s base in Melbourne, Fay brings decades of experience in investment banking, alternative investing, private investing and venture capital, having most recently held the role of Managing Partner and Head of Venture Capital at Artesian.
Fay also previously served as Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank in its fixed income and credit trading division in Sydney and New York.
“Luke’s extensive experience across private markets and investment banking brings valuable depth to our team,” Lyons said.
“His proven track record in deal execution and portfolio management will enhance our capabilities in sourcing new opportunities, supporting existing portfolio companies, and managing successful exits from our investments.”
Upon his appointment, Fay said he was looking forward to joining the Perennial team.
“Perennial Private Investments has established itself as Australia’s preeminent provider of private growth and pre-IPO capital for emerging companies,” he said.
“The team’s impressive track record and deep market relationships provide an excellent platform for continued success. I look forward to working alongside the Perennial team to deliver superior returns for our investors while supporting the growth of the private funds business.”
