Vanguard recruits ASIC’s Sean Hughes

Vanguard has managed to lure Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) commissioner, Sean Hughes as its new Head of Office of General Counsel in Australia.
The company announced the recruitment of Hughes shortly after the regulator has announced his departure effective from 3 February.
Hughes has had multiple stints with ASIC and has also previously been Group General Counsel for Tabcorp and Chief Risk and Legal Officer at UniSuper.
