Australian alternative asset management firm, Jameson Capital, and Hong Kong-based boutique advisory, TTB Partners, have formed a strategic partnership to cater to the growing demand for Australian alternative investment opportunities in Asia.

The partnership, rebranding the firms to Jameson TTB, will leverage Jameson Capital’s specialisation in real estate private equity and debt transactions and cumulative net internal rate of return of over 28 per cent on A$1 billion in assets, combined with TTB Partners’ global network of institutions and family offices.

“This partnership marks an exciting milestone for TTB and Jameson Capital in providing high-quality alternative investment opportunities to the growing market of investors across Asia,” Jonathan Bond, TTB Partners co-founder, said.

“Combining our capabilities with an expert and skilled team such as Jameson will give our investors greater confidence to invest capital into Australia.

“We are confident Jameson TTB can become a leading alternative investment manager in Australia and Asia, and a first choice for global investors seeking exposure to this resilient market. Jameson has built an outstanding track record of delivering for global investors and we look forward to building this capability in Asia.”

The firm’s on-the-ground and localised teams will improve the investment opportunities available to offshore investors and provide more global access to Australian alternative investments.

“We are thrilled to combine our expertise and work alongside TTB, who have a strong leadership team, impressive track record and extensive global network of investors,” Nick Browne, Jameson Capital’s co-founder and Director, said.

“With Australia’s relative success in the management of the pandemic presenting a target-rich environment, our local expertise puts us in a good position to leverage TTB’s relationships and guide them on Australian investment opportunities.

“We look forward to further strengthening our capabilities as Jameson TTB.”
