Changes at top of EQT’s super business

Equity Trustees has announced key changes to its superannuation business with Andrew Godfrey replacing Mark Blair.
The company announced Godfrey’s appointment as executive general manager, Superannuation Trustee Services today.
The Equity Trustees announcement noted that Blair had been “responsible for reshaping the highly successful superannuation business to focus on independent outsourced trusteeship in the superannuation sector”.
“The strategy underpinned the growth in the business of funds under supervision from $1bn to $40bn over the five years since Mr Blair was appointed to the role,” the announcement said.
Godfrey was previously with Mercer as Chief Operating Officer Operations and Technology for the Asia Pacific region.
The announcement said Blair was exploring continuing to work with the superannuation business as an independent adviser and consultant.
