Link Group buys Allens’ Company Secretarial business

Link Group’s Corporate Markets division has acquired Allens’ company secretarial business by its wholly owned subsidiary Company Matters.
The acquisition will be expected to deliver new opportunities across Link Group’s governance advisory offering and will bring a ‘significant client base’ to Link including Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies.
Link Group said the move was in line with its overall strategy to “pursue strategic growth, reinforcing and expanding its core businesses”.
At the same time, the firm said all permanent employees from Allens’ company secretarial business would transition to Link Group, marking a significant transformation for the team as it expands its presence in Sydney and Melbourne.
As part of the agreement, Company Matters will provide ongoing company secretarial services to Allens in Australia.
“The acquisition of Allens’ company secretarial business in Australia provides a significant boost to our corporate governance offering,” chief executive of Corporate Markets, Link Group, commented on the acquisition.
“This is a valuable opportunity to enhance our company secretarial and corporate administration services, bringing exposure to new clients and sectors. It will expand our capabilities while growing our team in Sydney and further cementing our presence in Melbourne.”
