Adviser numbers holding steady

Movement between licensees was the dominant factor in changes on the Financial Adviser Register (FAR) last week, according to WealthData analysis.
The analysis revealed that 46 advisers had a change of status, with the net result being the addition of one new adviser.

Growth – Licensee Owners
- Four licensee owners up by plus two:
- A new licensee commenced with two advisers, both leaving Grange Financial Securities
- Centrepoint Group has one new adviser joining, one returning after a few years away, and one coming from Madison, which is owned by Infocus. They lost one adviser who hasn’t been appointed elsewhere
- Blue Rock 3030 with both advisers being new entrants
- Axis Financial Group with both advisers coming back after breaks of several years.
- 13 licensees owners up by plus one including Picture Wealth, Industry Super Holdings, and Capstone.
Losses – Licensee Owners
- Four licensee owners down by two:
- Andrew John Baxter (Grange Securities), with both advisers commencing their own licensee mentioned above.
- Entireti & Akumin Group with one adviser joining EFS Advice owned by Andrew Reyonalds and the other adviser yet to be appointed elsewhere.
- Morgans Group and both advisers yet to be appointed
- Trinity (Towers Watson) and both advisers not appointed elsewhere.
- A tail of 12 licensee owners down by net one each including; Findex, Sequoia and Oreana.
