AMP reinforces its advice licensee offer

AMP Limited has reinforced its advice licensee offer on the back of the launch of a new aligned advice business in Perth.
AMP Group Executive, Advice, Matt Lawler welcomed Hatch Financial Group into the AMP network which he said fitted with the company’s focus on building out its licensee offer.
“As the operator of one of Australia’s largest licensee networks, we understand what advice practices are looking for to operate profitably and compliantly under a corporate license,” he said.
AMP said Hatch Financial Group was being led by Nick Hatch who has had a long-running relationship with AMP having started his career as a co-owner of All West Financial Group under AMP’s Charter License.
All West had been acquired by Sage Financial Group in 2021 and Hatch had decided to establish his own practice under the AMP Advice.
AMP’s announcement quoted Hatch as saying that he had been with Charter for many years and wanted to continue with that relationship.
Lawler said AMP understood many advisers were looking to run their own license which had prompted the company to establish Jigsaw Advice Solutions.
