Capstone expands offering with self-licensee backoffice solution

Capstone Financial Planning has launched a new sister company, CapBack Licensee Solutions, to deliver backoffice support services for self-licensed advice businesses.

Leveraging the expertise of Capstone Managing Director, Grant O’Riley, the solution seeks to support self-licensed businesses “effectively run and manage their own AFSL” through eight packages offering a variety of tailored services.

The packages – covering revenue management, risk and compliance, research, Xplan, marketing and communications, training and education, paraplanning, and business coaching – build on Capstone’s longstanding track record of supporting advisers in their delivery of client outcomes.

“We now have something for everyone,” O’Riley said.

“With over 23 years supporting advisers across Australia, we know what it takes to run a successful AFSL and we’re excited to support more financial advisers as they pursue their own AFSL journey.

“It can be challenging trying to do everything on your own and that’s where CapBack comes in. We can help self licensed businesses establish their AFSL or support existing AFSLs upskill in all aspects of their operations, freeing up their time to service clients.

“There’s a common message I hear from nearly every self licensed adviser, ‘I didn’t realise how much time and effort was involved in running my own AFSL’ – it’s the same frustration for all of them, regardless of the business size.

“This was my main motivation to establish CapBack – to allow self licensed advisers the time to focus on what they do best, providing financial advice to their clients; and giving them a viable alternative to help manage everything else.”

O’Reilly confirmed that CapBack offers a range of flexible options to encourage take-up, with no lock-in contracts, one-off services such as website development, ad-hoc marketing support or coaching services charged at an hourly rate available.
