Count loses CFO, Laurent Toussaint

The man who stood in as acting chief executive of Count following the departure of Matthew Rowe in 2021, chief financial officer, Laurent Toussaint, will leave the company in September.
Count announced Tousssaint’s intention to leave the company in an announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). His departure comes almost a year after he handed over the reins of Count to current chief executive Hugh Humphrey on 1 July, last year.
At the time of Humphrey’s appointment, Toussaint was promoted to Chief Financial and Operating Officer.
Count’s ASX announcement yesterday said that it had commenced an executive search process for a new CFO and that Toussaint would continue in the role until 29 September.
The ASX announcement quoted Humphrey as saying that he and the board thanked Toussaint for his significant contribution to the company’s success since joining as CFO in 2018.
The announcement said that Toussaint was leaving “to pursue a new professional opportunity”.
