Data confirms salaried adviser tend to stick

Nearly a third of financial advisers on the Financial Adviser Register (FAR) have only ever worked for one licensee, according to new analysis from Padua-owned Wealth Data.
After recently pointing to the significant levels of mobility of advisers between licensees, Wealth Data principal, Colin Williams noted that 4,143 representing 26.8% of those on the FAR had only ever been appointed to one licensee.
He said this group fell within the institutional/salaried adviser segment, with the next largest segment for limited mobility were those advisers working for large licensees.
