David Evans steps back from executive role at Evans and Partners

Evans and Partners executive chairman, David Evans is stepping back from day to day executive duties.
He will continue as chairman.
E&P Financial Group announced to the Australian Securities Exchange today that Evans would transition from executive chairman to non-executive chairman effective from 1 July and that Tony Johnson had been appointed to the board as executive director effect from 1 June.
It said that as well joining the board, Johnson would have an executive capacity focused on identifying and developing growth opportunities across the group.
Johnson is currently a non-executive director of Bupa ANZ and Chair of the Advisory Board of Fujitsu ANZ.
The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) announcement said the company and Evans had agreed to vary the terms of the Employment Agreement between the company and Evans such that his employment as executive chairman would end on 30 June without the need for a three month notice period.
Evans and Partners is the parent company of the recently troubled Dixon Advisory.
