intelliflo continues Aussie hires, growth plans

Cloud-based advice technology provider, intelliflo, has continued its Australian expansion plans with two new appointments to support local business development.
Kate Fellows has been appointed Business Development Manager in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, and Aaron Thiele as Business Development Manager in Queensland and the Northern Territory.
As the latest in a series of hires since the company’s “full-scale [Australian] market launch in March”, Australian Head of Sales Stuart Alsop said Fellows and Thieles will boost intelliflo’s geographical reach and offer advisers and clients an alternative software service.
“Now that intelliflo is fully operational here in Australia, we are excited to bring our award-winning software and services to more advice businesses to transform the advisory experience and make financial advice more affordable and accessible for more Australians,” he said.
Fellows joins from Macquarie Group, having previously been a Senior Business Development Manager, and brings over two decades of industry experience in financial planning, business development and consulting to the new role.
Brisbane-based Thiele has held positions at Brighter Super and Suncorp, with close to 15 years of experience across business development and sales.
“Kate and Aaron have extensive industry experience and are both well equipped to introduce our product and services to advisers and clients across Australia. They both form an integral part of our team and will drive our ongoing expansion, with the support of the business globally,” Alsop said.
The appointments and expansion into Australia come as the firm’s offering, ‘intelliflo office’, has reached 30,000 global users across US, UK and Australia-based financial advisers.
