MetLife unveils adviser education centre

MetLife Australia has become the latest life insurance provider to launch its own digital education centre for financial advisers called MetLife Campus to support them with their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
The insurer said the education hub was developed in response to the rapidly changing nature of the advice sector, client expectations and the broader regulatory environment.
Designed to help advisers meet their annual requirement of 40 hours of professional development easily and digitally, MetLife Campus offers modules including Claim Essentials, Growth Mindset, Business Insurance Essentials and Introduction to Insurance Inside Super.
Each module provides advisers with a combination of written, audio and video content and quick knowledge check-ins in the lead-up to a short assessment at the end of each module to qualify for CPD points.
“We know advisers are asking for support in maintaining their professional development and we have responded by leveraging our technical expertise and digital capabilities to deliver a great solution,” MetLife Australia Chief Distribution Officer, Michael Mulholland, said.
“While we’re initially launching with ten learning modules, we will continue to expand the content throughout next year, to deliver more than 40 hours of content.
“We’re here to support advisers to deliver quality advice to their clients and MetLife Campus is yet another way we’re helping them to stay ahead of the game for their clients.”
