QMV appoints new CEO

Financial services firm QMV has announced the appointment of Marcus Pearl to the newly created role of chief executive officer in which he would head QMV’s core advisory and consulting business alongside its technology and legal subsidiaries.
Following the appointment, the company said Mark Vaughan would move into an executive director role.
Pearl joined from Primacy Underwriting Management where he spent seven years, most recently, as chief executive. Prior to that, he served for nine years at ANZ as a director within-it Global Financial Markets business based in Singapore, and as a strategy analyst located in Melbourne.
Commenting on his appointment, Vaughan said: “Marcus is a highly experienced and knowledgeable leader with exceptional credentials. He has a diverse skillset and a proven history of building high performing teams, as well as driving business growth and client-focused innovation.
“This experience will serve QMV well as it continues to grow capability and scale, and delivers on plans to enter new geographical markets and industries with its data quality solution, Investigate DQ.”
In his new role, Pearl would report to the QMV board of directors and would be based in Melbourne.
