Richard Klipin resigns as NZ FSC CEO

The New Zealand Financial Services Council is in the market for a new chief executive, following the resignation of Richard Klipin.
The FSC announced today that Klipin had advised his resignation to the board after seven years in the role.
It said that he would remain in the role while the board commenced a search process and to ensure a smooth transition.
The NZ FSC chair, Rob Flannagan said Klipin was leaving the organisation in good shape having grown it from 29 members to one that now has 119 members.
Klipin said his decision to resign had been a huge one, but that it was the right time to hand on the leadership baton.
