Who have been the best and worst financial services ministers?

The former Liberal/National Party Government has been the subject of heavy criticism over its handling of financial services policy and its impact on financial advisers, but who do you believe were the best and worst ministers in the portfolio.
The heavy criticism directed at the former Government came from the Association of Independently Owned Financial Professionals which claimed vindication of its decision to campaign against the LNP at the last Federal Election.
The past decade has been one of the most significant for financial advisers marked by factors such as the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking Superannuation and Financial Services Industry, the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) regime and the Future of Financial Advice (FoFA0 changes.
The financial services portfolio has been handled by a range of ministers from both major parties over the past decade. Financial Newswire wants you to rank which ministers you believe were best and worst over the period.

Hard to rate Stephen Jones yet, as he has done absolutely nothing. Then again, that’s probably a reason to vote him down.
He talked about making some quick fixes to obvious problems, but has instead chosen to delay and bury things via bureaucratic process. He seems far more focused on superannuation issues that further favour the union controlled “Industry” funds. Not a promising start.
Frydenberg was a maniacal Adviser killer, doing anything and everything against Advisers to protect and help banks and institutions.
Frydenberg then was the puppeteer controlling O’Dwyer & Hume.
Frydenberg was the absolute most destructive politician against Advisers ever seen.
Beside sucking up to the banks, does anyone know why Frydenberg hated Advisers so much ??
Thankfully the AIOFP helped kill off this anti Adviser lunatic.
