Bravura chair retires post $80m capital raise

Financial service software company, Bravura Solutions has announced changes to its board with Andrew Russell being appointed as interim chairman.
The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) that the change had been generated by the retirement of Neil Broekhuizen effective immediately and the pending appointment of Shezad Okhai as a non-executive director.
It said Broekhuizen had served as a non-executive director since 2009 and chairman since August, 2019.
The ASX announcement said Shezad Okhai, who is the Chief Investment Officer of Pinetree Capital, would provide strong shareholder alignment, capital allocation experience and vertical market software expertise.
Pinetree Capital is an associate of Bravura’s largest shareholder, L6 Holdings.
The announcement said Okhai would join the board once customary check had been completed and would be appointed as a member of the company’s remuneration and nomination committee and had agreed to waive all director’s fees.
