Elemnta boosts digital offering with data security standard backing

Australian fintech, Elemnta, has strengthened its digital offering by adding to its suite of international certifications, this time marking its strong protection of customer data and regulation of cybersecurity risks.
Its SOC 2 Type 1 Certification follows their attainment of the ISO 27001 certification around one year ago, which indicates the business’ “commitment to information security”. Both certifications also involved independent audits.
Elemnta Chief Executive Officer, Shaun Green, welcomed the new certification as the next step for the business, having achieved significant success since its establishment in September 2023. Green said its Integration Platform and Advice CRM connectivity had seen “strong momentum” recently, including its partnership with Colonial First State (CFS) and its FirstChoice platform and recognition in SuitabilityHub’s ‘Platform Market Wrap’.
“I am proud and grateful for the team’s dedication in achieving this certification. Any best-in-class capability requires equally rigorous data protection, which this milestone serves to validate alongside our role as trusted custodians of information to our clients,” Green said.
“With ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 1 in place, we are better equipped to address fundamental industry challenges with seamless digital integration, all while ensuring the highest standards of data security. Elemnta is on track to attaining SOC 2 Type 2 later this year.”
