HUB24 adds high-profile PMs to entry-level investor platform

HUB24 has added five new portfolio managers to its Discover menu, with Dimensional, State Street, Russell, Infinity, and MLC joining the simplified investor platform.

Advisers and their clients will now have access to portfolios from 13 portfolio managers (PMs), including AZ Sestante, Betashares, Blackrock/iShares, Elston, Lonsec, Morningstar, Vanguard, and Zenith, in addition to the five new PMs, through Discover.

Discover boasts a selection of 66 investment portfolios, including passive, active, and ESG managed investment options, offered by these established asset managers.

Launched in late November, Discover is designed for investors with less complex investment needs and with cost-efficiency in mind. The solution’s investment menu is geared towards early-stage wealth accumulators – those with smaller super and investment balances – and later-stage retirees.

Discover complements HUB24’s more comprehensive investment platforms Core and Choice, which offer a fuller suite of investment options.

HUB24 chief operating officer Craig Lawrenson said Discover was designed “in response to the growing demand from advisers seeking a cost-effective solution that offers choice and flexibility”.

“Based on adviser feedback, we’ve now identified more opportunities to expand our range of managed portfolios to 66, nearly doubling the available options.”

He added: “Demographic trends, such as intergenerational wealth transfer and ageing populations, are providing opportunities for advisers to evolve their advice proposition to meet the needs of a diverse range of clients.”
