Morningstar and Centrepoint deepen advicetech relationship
Research and ratings house Morningstar has further leveraged its 2019 acquisition of financial planning software platform, AdviserLogic, via a new deal with major licensee, Centrepoint Alliance.
Morningstar has announced that AdviserLogic has been added as a new advice software option for Centrepoint licensee practices.
It said the arrangement deepens collaboration between Morningstar and Centrepoint with Morningstar already providing managed portfolios and comprehensive research.
Commenting on the move, Morningstar country leader and managing director, Chris Galloway said the firm was committed to delivering its integrated solutions in adviser technology and research to Centrepoint Alliance.
“Our focus remains on supporting the advice industry with cutting-edge CRM, advice generation and regtech tools.” he said.
Centrepoint Alliance chief executive, John Shuttleworth said the firm sees technology as pivotal to the success of adviser practices both from an efficiency and client engagement point of view.
Morningstar acquired AdviserLogic in 2019 saying it would broaden its product suite and expand the firm’s capabilities with respect to independent financial advisers.
