Acadian Australia expands client team

Acadian Asset Management has announced the appointment of two client and business development professionals with Rose Beedles being appointed its vice president, director, relationship management and service and Erica Sabbah being appointed business developments and client service associate.
Beedles, who was previously a senior director, client relationships and service at First Sentier Investors, would report directly to Acadian Australia chief executive Gillian Savage and would be based in Sydney, along with Sabbah, who joined from Barwon Investment Partners where she was a business development associate.
“It is an opportune time to grow the team overseeing the onboarding of new clients and mandates as well as further expand service to the firm’s local client base,” Savage commented.
“Demand continues to increase from institutional, wholesale and other sophisticated investors for Acadian’s systematic approach to investing.
“We’re delighted to have Rose and Erica join the local team. Rose’s depth of industry experience and the breadth of clients she’s worked with over the past 15 years will allow her to start partnering with our clients straightaway.”
Acadian said it experienced significant growth over the past year thanks to client activity including:
- Colonial First State (CFS) funding into its Australian Equity Core strategy,
- Australian Small-Cap investment from a major dealer group, and a
- notable flow into its Multi-Asset Absolute Return strategy from an Australian-based investor.
