Al Clark to become CFS Head of Investments

The new shape of the investment team at Colonial First State (CFS) has become clearer following news of the departure of Peter Dymond and George Lin.
Financial Newswire understands that Al Clark, formerly Head of Investments and MLC Asset Management,is being appointed to the newly-created role of Head of Investments, with Ben Lam being promoted to Head of Equities and Robert Graham-Smith promoted to head of Fixed Income and Alternatives.
As well, Financial Newswire understands that Chetan Soorkea and Ramali DeZoysa have been promoted to Senior Investment Analysts.
Clark has previously held senior roles at Nikko Asset Management, Schroders and BT.
Clark was head of multi-assets for the Asia-Pacific region with Schroders when Greg Cooper was chief executive of the firm. Cooper is now a non-executive director of CFS.
