Ascalon acquires Evergreen

Research and ratings firm Evergreen Consultants has been acquired by Ascalon Capital.
Ascalon announced that Evergreen founder, Angela Ashton and several of her key team members had joined Ascalon effective immediately.
Announcing the change, Ascalon chief executive, Aubrey Roga said the transition reflects “Ascalon Capital’s ongoing commitment to governance, sustainability, and the professionalisation of consulting services across the wealth and investment management sector”.
The announcement said Evergreen’s clients will now operate under Ascalon’s institutional governance framework, risk controls, and compliance standards — providing enhanced structure, resources, and oversight consistent with the requirements of platform and trustee partners.
“This integration further strengthens the capability and support offered to clients of Evergreen Consultants:.
“There will be no changes to existing client portfolios and contractual arrangements. All advisory services and investment oversight will now be delivered under Ascalon Capital’s AFSL and compliance processes,” it said.
