Bentham promotes state distribution manager

Bentham Asset Management has promoted Larry Francis to the role of Wholesale Distribution Manager for NSW and Queensland.
Francis brings over seven years of experience in sales and distribution to his new role at the specialist global fixed interest and credit asset manager, where he has worked for over three years.
Prior to Bentham, Francis was also part of the distribution teams at Clime Asset Management and Grant Thornton Australia.
“I am grateful to be working with an industry leading fixed income and credit manager and excited to work with adviser practices across both states,” Francis said.
Francis will be working across Bentham’s suite of fixed income and global credit funds that seek to provide a stable and regular income stream while diversifying risk in global credit markets. He said adding global credit to a portfolio that also includes cash, fixed interest and equities has historically enhanced returns for investors due to its diversifying performance.
“We are pleased to broaden our client coverage in Australia as part of our efforts to provide quality service to our valued investors and the financial advisory community,” Richard Quin, Bentham’s Principal and Chief Investment Officer, said.
Bentham will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its flagship Global Income Fund later this year, and currently offers a monthly distribution rate of 6.5 per cent per annum.
