Eureka Report to be merged with Intelligent Investor
The Eureka Report publication will be brought under the Intelligent Investor, with a refreshed website deployed in November 2023, InvestSMART Group has said in the announcement to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
At the same time, the group said that the name Eureka Report would continue to exist and serve as a “comprehensive service for investors”.
According to the announcement, Alan Kohler would continue to write his Weekend Brief, as well as the CEO interviews and Money Café. The title will also keep many of its contributors who will work now alongside Intelligent Investor’s group of analysts.
“We hoped our membership would see the natural synergies of subscribing to both publications. Seven years on the hypothesis has played out, with more than 65% of the combined membership subscribing to both publications. However, that means two websites to access content from one organisation and extensive developer resourcing,” InvestSMART’s chief executive, Ron Hodge, said.
“Combining the two publications means the best content will now be available in one place. There will be a clearer connection between stock analysis and the broader macro-economic themes affecting different industries.
The merger of the two publications is also expected to reduce the administrative burden for the developers.
InvestSMART purchased Eureka Report in 2016 to complement Intelligent Investor’s stock research and analysis with macro-economic, investment and retirement planning content.

Offer the exit door on these old products, then set a 5 year Centrelink clawback Hammer to the head. Awesome…
Wholesale should be opt in for all clients, and be extended to super advice and risk.
Misses the point. Plus I don't get it. Then SMSF Trustees should also need to sit an exam, AND people…
