IML founder, Anton Tagliaferro receives Lifetime Achievement Award

The founder of value manager, Investors Mutual Limited (IML), Anton Tagliaferro, has received the Financial Newswire Lifetime Achievement Award.
Tagliaferro, who retired in March this year, received the award as part of the Financial Newswire/SQM Research 2023 Fund Manager of the Year Awards held in Sydney last night.
Presenting the award, Financial Newswire publisher and managing editor, Mike Taylor said Tagliaferro had been recognised not just for his work as one of Australia’s leading investment managers, but for his broader contribution to the Australian funds management industry.
“Anton has been a mainstay of the Australian funds management industry for a quarter of a century and a significant contributor making him a worthy recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award honour,” Taylor said.
