JANA seals second MAs consulting deal with Investor Wealth

JANA Investment Advisers has cemented its second consultancy partnership in a matter of weeks, this time with Melbourne-based Investor Wealth to support their managed accounts (MAs) offering.
The partnership comes as managed accounts continue to grow as a preferred investment vehicle by both advisers and their clients. JANA said its “bespoke consulting services” help self-licenced firms like Investor Wealth deliver for the growing market demand.
“We are excited to support Investor Wealth in launching their tailored SMA programme to meet their own diverse client needs,” Michael Karagianis, Head of JANA’s Wealth business, said.
“As the managed account market continues to develop the portfolio construction and due diligence requirements are becoming increasingly sophisticated and demanding.
“JANA is well placed with more than 100 investment research staff to support the most sophisticated requirements of Wealth clients required tailored consulting services.
“We look forward to a productive partnership that aims to deliver the highest quality managed account solutions to Investor Wealth’s clients at exceptional value.”
The partnership takes JANA’s number of clients up to 15 and funds under advice and management up to $14 billion. The firm will provide a range of consultancy services for Investor Wealth’s suite of risk-based SMAs, including portfolio construction, risk management and
performance monitoring.
“We were keen to partner with an asset consultant of the calibre of JANA. Their scale, longevity, expertise and tailored consulting approach to our needs aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering superior managed account solutions to our clients,” John Cesario, Director of Investor Wealth, said.
“This collaboration is a significant step forward in our mission to deliver exceptional financial outcomes for the individuals and families we serve.”
