Northern Trust unveils online peer platform

Global asset manager and wealth management provider, Northern Trust, has launched a new online collaborative content platform for asset owners and allocators.
Titled A-Suite, the platform features a combination of research, insights and peer-to-peer networking opportunities that offers an intimate community for asset owners and allocators to cooperate and address their most pressing needs.
Northern Trust said the launch only confirms its commitment to serving their 1,800 clients across corporations, not-for-profits, public funds, insurance companies, central banks, superannuation and sovereign wealth funds, providing a space “where peers can connect, benchmark, and share best practices”.
“Our goal is to empower the missions of asset owners ̶ helping them to optimiwe returns so they are able to best serve their constituents and communities. With A-Suite we aim to help further those missions to an even greater extent,” Melanie Pickett, Head of Asset Owners, Americas at Northern Trust, said.
“The launch is very exciting but just the start. Working in partnership with our clients, we expect to quickly add a number of new features and capabilities in upcoming releases.”
Angelo Calvitto, Northern Trust’s Head of the APAC region, said the A-Suite platform will assist their clients to achieve their goals through tailored content, relevant research and global communication.
“Asset owners all over the world face many similar investment challenges,” he said.
“Providing a destination platform and content hub for this community demonstrates our desire to stay one step ahead in supporting their evolving needs.”
