Perpetual selects three Pendal directors

Perpetual has announced the three Pendal directors it is inviting to join the Perpetual Board, with two of them based overseas.
Perpetual said it was inviting New York based Christopher Jones, UK-based Kathryn Matthews and Australian-based Ben Heap to join the Board.
The appointments are in line with Perpetual’s announcement in August that as part of its proposed acquisition of Pendal it would invite up to three Pendal directors to join the Perpetual Board.
Jones is currently chair of Pendal USA Inc and was formerly Principal of CMVJ Capital, while Matthews is currently chair of Barclays Investment Solutions.
Heap is a founding partner of H2 Ventures and is independent chairman of CBA New Digital Businesses Pty Ltd.
