T. Rowe Price appoints APAC ESG specialist

Global investment manager, T. Rowe Price, has appointed Sydney-based Caroline Ramscar as ESG Investment Specialist for the APAC region.

Bringing over two decades of experience and expertise in financial markets and relocating to Sydney from London, Ramscar will contribute to the firm’s Responsible Investment and Corporate Governance teams, consulting with clients across the APAC region on implementing ESG standards and employing more responsible investing strategies.

Ramscar will also support T. Rowe Price’s range of ‘Impact’ products that aim to generate positive social and environmental impact and financial returns through strategies in equities and fixed income.

Rowe Price, said.

Ramscar spent five out of a total of 10 years as Head of Sustainability Solutions at Legal & General Investment Management in London, where she connected with clients on sustainability considerations and responsible investing and sat on several ESG committees and working groups.

Ramscar commenced in the new role at T. Rowe Price on July 18.
