ANZ names former HSBC exec as next CEO
ANZ Banking Group has announced the successor to chief executive, Shayne Elliott. He is Nuno Matos who will become chief executive in July, next year.
Matos was most recently the chief executive of Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC which he joined in 2015 from Santander where he was of Global Head of Consumer in its Retail and Commercial Division.
Matos began his career as an analyst in the banking supervision department of Banco de Portugal.
