Polkadot crypto joins BTC Markets exchange

Australian cryptocurrency investors now have access to new coin, Polkadot (DOT), via local crypto exchange, BTC Markets as of 7 December.
Caroline Bowler, BTC Markets chief executive, said the new addition to the platform comes after a period of development for the exchange in the past year.
BTC Markets launched their mobile trading app earlier this year and also snagged coin listings including decentralised finance protocol Aave (AAVE) in May and blockchain platform Avalanche (AVAX) in October.
“It has been a year of growth and evolution for our business with a recent brand refresh across our website, mobile app, and social platforms,” Bowler said.
“We are excited to be adding another large market cap project to our exchange and are committed to providing a world class trading experience and unparalleled peace of mind to our clients.
“Account security will always be a high priority as we continue to expand the projects we offer on our platform. Polkadot is a community favourite, and we are excited to launch this coin to market.”
