Westpac names new CEO – Anthony Miller

Westpac has announced its new chief executive and managing director succeeding Peter King. It is current Business and Wealth division chief executive, Anthony Miller.
Announcing Miller’s appointment today, Westpac chair, Steven Gregg said that Miller is the right person to take the company into a new era.
Prior to joining Westpac, Miller was Deutsche Bank chief executive for Australia and New Zealand and co-head of the Investment Bank in the Asia Pacific. He also spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs.
King has been chief executive of Westpac since 2019.
