Seasoned industry exec joins ClearView board

ASX-listed life insurer, ClearView, has welcomed industry veteran, Linda Scott, to its board as an independent Non-Executive Director.
In addition to her role at ClearView commencing immediately, Scott also serves as Chair of CareSuper, Director of the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI), member of the Director Nomination Committee of IFM Investors and Director of Industry Innovation and Science Australia.
Scott also brings extensive ministerial experience, having served as President of the Australian Local Government Association (ALGA), President of Local Government NSW and Deputy Lord Mayor of the City of Sydney.
“Linda Scott brings considerable governance, advocacy and strategy experience, a customer-focussed lens, and in-depth knowledge of superannuation which is an important means through which life insurance is obtained,” Geoff Black, Non-Executive Chairman of ClearView, said.
“I look forward to working with Linda and welcome her to the Board.”
