MA Financial acquires IP Generation

Global alternative asset manager, MA Financial Group has acquired real estate investment manager, IP Generation.
MA Financial announced the transaction to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) stating it involved a fixed consideration of $90.4 million comprised of $80 million payable in MA Financial shares and $10.4 million in deferred consideration 50% payable in cash and 50% ion shares.
Commenting on the acquisition, MA Financial joint chief executive, Julian Biggins said his firm had had a long association with IP Generation and he believed that together the two firms had significantly strengthened real estate management capability.
“This acquisition will mutually benefit our many investors, which aligns with our philosophy of achieving win-win outcomes for clients, shareholders and staff,” he said.
The ASX announcement said that following completion of the transaction, MA Financial would have a real estate management platform with significant scale, breadth and capability, including approximately $8 billion in assets under management across core real estate, alternative real estate and real estate credit.
All licensed or auth rep advisers and all mortgage brokers or credit reps are required to have Prof Indemnity Insurance.…
