ART simplifies super onboarding

Australian Retirement Trust (ART) has announced the launch of a digital tool aimed at streamlining the super onboarding process for employers and employees.
The Super Fund Onboarding (SFO) would provide the employers with an automated process for administering fund choice in line with the stapling obligations introduced last November, the firm said.
The new digital tool was designed to streamline the employee super onboarding process for employers that was created by Beam – a software solution to manage super which is part of Australian Retirement Trust.
ATR’s chief growth officer, Dave Woodall, said that since launching in October, the tool managed to attract more than 1,500 employers to make a transition.
“We aim to make it as simple as possible for our employer partners to do business with us, and that’s why we developed this tool,” he said.
“SFO lightens the administration load when onboarding new employees and provides a fully trackable and seamless employee onboarding journey – eliminating errors and data inaccuracies.
“We’ve received excellent feedback from our employers that the tool is intuitive to use, with the support material clear and easy to understand.
“Over the coming months we expect thousands more employers to use the SFO digital tool. With simplicity a cornerstone of how we do business, this new digital tool strengthens our existing product and service offering to employer partners.”
