Gary Dransfield appointed to chair ASFA

The new independent chairman of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia is former insurance executive, Gary Dransfield.
ASFA announced Dransfield’s appointment today. He succeeds Michael Easson in the role.
Dransfield is currently a non-executive director of Hollard Insurance and of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
He was formerly chief executive of Insurance Australia for Suncorp Group and hs been a board member of the Insurance Council of Australia and the Insurance Council of New Zealand.
