Link partners with HSBC in Hong Kong

Major superannuation administrator, Link Group has extended its footprint to Hong Kong via a strategic partnership with HSBC.
The company announced this week that it had entered into the arrangement with HSBC which would see it delivering digital administration and value-added services to HSBC’s Occupational Retirement Scheme Ordinance clients.
It said the transaction was finalised yesterday and would provide Link with an immediate, strong position in the Hong Kong pension market where HSBC is a significant player based on number of retirement schemes and assets under management.
Link said the decision to enter the Hong Kong pension market aligned with its global growth and transformation strategy at a time when the pension and superannuation industry is experiencing a structural shift towards digitisation.
The long-term partnership is underpinned by a 10-year agreement.
