Super, product specialist joins Rest in newly created role

Industry superannuation fund, Rest, has announced the appointment of Gideon Lipman to the newly created Chief of Staff role, to help drive the fund towards achieving its “strategic goals”.
Lipman brings over two decades of superannuation, product and strategy experience and expertise to the new role working directly with Rest chief executive, Vicki Doyle, and the fund’s executive team.
“Gideon is a highly respected superannuation leader and I’m delighted he is joining Rest to support our critical mission to make the experience of superannuation simpler and easier for our 2 million members,” Doyle said.
“Gideon’s strong member focus and commercial acumen will help Rest ensure we can continue to mobilise our strategy into action to help our members achieve their best possible retirement outcomes.”
Lipman joins Rest from Insignia Financial where he was Head of Product; he has also previously held several senior roles in the strategy, transformation and product spaces at Colonial First State.
