Vale David Galbally

The former chair of TWU Super and leading Melbourne lawyer, David Galbally, has passed away.
Galbally, 74, who chaired TWU Super through some of its most challenging years, passed away over the weekend after a brief illness.
He was chair of TWU Super from November, 2000 until May, 2022, but was best known for his distinguished career as one of Victoria’s leading barristers and Queen’s Counsels.
TWU Super merged with Mine Super to become Team Super, with the merger becoming formal earlier this year.
