BT updates Panorama features
Several features of the BT Panorama platform have undergone a raft of updates and enhancements to accommodate a new and improved user experience for advisers and practice support staff.
The Service Request Tracker, which was commissioned after a trial last year and updated once again in March, allows staff to view the status of individual client requests and now download and submit selected forms.
“The Service Request Tracker has been a gamechanger in many respects for advice practices, as the time savings give them capacity to spend more time with clients,” BT’s Chief Customer Services Officer, Georgina Croft, said.
“It’s a great example of how our technology can provide practical solutions. We looked at how the administrative process of tracking requests can be streamlined on our platform, and we’ve delivered.”
Advisers and other users can now also generate Centrelink schedules online without the need to call a BT customer relations consultant, as BT’s chatbot Blue can virtually guide users through the entire process 24/7. This update comes as three per cent of sessions conducted by the chatbot just this year were requests related to generating a Centrelink schedule.
“Running the back office efficiently is a key pathway to increased profitability for many advice practices,” Croft said.
“As the platform of choice for nearly half of all advisers in Australia, we are committed to empowering advice practices to make the most of platform technology so they can continue to thrive.”
BT also highlighted further enhancements remained on the cards, with updates to reporting capabilities set to save time for advisers by generating the same set of reports for potentially all clients all at once. Cybersecurity updates are also a main priority for BT Panorama, as well as:
- Addition of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) information to the investments and research section of the mobile app
- Access to investment and product disclosure documents and up to three years of documents in the document library on the mobile app
- Addition of Service Request Tracker on the mobile app
- Enhancements to Adviser Portfolio tools with managed accounts
- Allowing in specie contributions to super
