FAAA launches career centre for financial advice industry

The Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) has launched its new Career Centre for job seekers and career changers across the financial planning industry.
The new portal has been designed to promote jobs directly to financial advice professionals and, at the same time, those who were the FAAA members would receive significant discounts on pricing to advertise job vacancies.
It will also allow job seekers to sign up for email alerts and upload their resume for employers to review.
According to FAAA general manager education Anne Palmer, the new Career Centre will serve as a one-stop shop for both members and non-members, whether they are recruiting for qualified staff, searching for a new role or seeking to further develop their skills.
“The portal will assist those in the advice profession, no matter where they are at in their careers,” Palmer said.
“Future editions of the member communication – FAAA Weekly – containing the latest updates for members, will now include featured jobs with direct access to apply or create a new listing for your business. This will assist advertisers to reach qualified candidates as quickly as possible.
“This new resource has been designed to assist the busy working lives of our members and support them in their search for upcoming talent, a new challenge or resetting their career goals.”
