Bennelong commences new trustees services with first client
Bennelong Funds Management has nabbed its first client as part of its new trustee services offering first launched in October last year, after being named the responsible entity (RE) for the Paragon Australia Long Short Fund.
The partnership with Paragon sees Bennelong get its first taste of working with investment managers and service providers to oversee all regulatory and compliance needs which allows the manager more time to focus on fund performance.
“We’ve been working hard on creating a comprehensive suite of outsourced RE service offerings for investment managers, both domestically and internationally. Being able to officially bring Paragon on board demonstrates our capabilities in this area,” Alan O’Brien, Relationship Manager, Trustee Services at Bennelong, said.
“It’s been great to work with Hillier Deniz and John Deniz from Paragon, in the appointment of Bennelong as the Fund’s RE.”
John Deniz, Paragon’s Chief Investment Officer, co-founded the investment management company in 2012.
“Working with Bennelong has been a seamless experience so far, and I’m confident this partnership will strengthen our Fund’s operations,” he said.
“Thank you to our investors for their support in facilitating this change. I look forward to Bennelong being at the helm.”
The nub of this seems to be (in my opinion) that if it is ok for APRA to spend money…
If APRA is going to chase headlines for similar activity from super funds then it is clear they should not…
Didn't CBUS spend $400k on a party....?
Really?? Is this the best Tony Sheldon can come up with?? I'd rather he die on a much more worthwhile…
Just Embarrassing for all involved
