BetaShares opens Perth office

BetaShares has announced the launch of its Perth office and the appointment of Brendan Prowse to lead sales and client servicing efforts in Western Australia.
The firm said the appointment would help it expand its presence in Western Australia by adding a dedicated resource for the more than 1,700 financial advisers in that state.
Prowse joined BetaShares with 35 years’ experience across funds management and financial advice. Prior to BetaShares, Prowse worked for Vanguard, AMP and Zurich in distribution and sales roles. He also worked as a certified financial planner at the start of his career.
“We are delighted to welcome someone of Brendan’s calibre to our growing team. Brendan is well-known and highly regarded across the financial services industry, particularly in his home state of Western Australia,” , BetaShares chief executive, Alex Vynokur, commented on his appointment.
